I need a new Digital Camera

It’s become clear since starting my Toy of the Day posts that my digital camera – in a word – sucks. I won’t do a diservice to the manufacturer by telling you which one I’m using, but I’m having issues with things like focus, flash, color etc. (and yes this could be due to user error). That said, I’m open to any suggestions, and I’ll be spending a lot of time here: Steve’s DigiCam.
Oh – I’m also in the market for a really good compact camcorder…but more on that later.
